Important Dates for 2025–2026
To help you prepare for the upcoming school year with Virtualis, we’ve gathered the key academic and ESA-related dates for Arizona families. Virtualis begins with grades K–5 for the 2025–2026 school year, so make sure to plan accordingly and secure your ESA funding on time.

📅 First Day of School
School Begins: August 6, 2025

📋 ESA Application Timeline
ESA applications are accepted year-round.
To receive funds for the first quarter (Q1), be sure to sign your contract before July 1, 2025.
ESA funding is distributed quarterly through the Arizona Department of Education’s ClassWallet system.

💰 ESA Funding Schedule
Q1: July 1 – September 30
Q2: October 1 – December 31
Q3: January 1 – March 31
Q4: April 1 – June 30

Contracts must be signed within each quarter to receive that quarter’s funds. We recommend submitting your ESA application well before your desired start date.
