Using ESA Funds with Virtualis
Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program allows families to use state education funds for private schooling, tutoring, curriculum, and more. At Virtualis Online School, this means you can give your child a classical education—powered by Great Hearts Online and enriched by our proprietary Vitae Formation program—tuition-free for qualifying families.

This flexible program is ideal for parents seeking a tailored, faith-based education rooted in the great books, integrated health, and virtue formation—all from the convenience of home.

How ESA Works
Families apply directly through the Arizona Department of Education
Approved students receive a pre-loaded ClassWallet account with funds for private education
ESA funds can be used for Virtualis tuition, curriculum, tutoring, and wellness services (e.g., pediatric telehealth)
Families retain flexibility and control—students are officially homeschooled but enrolled in a fully supported classical program
